Tell us your situation
A two-minute form. No credit check, and asking us doesn't affect your credit score.
We call when you choose
A judgement-free chat to understand your situation, through an Islamic lens. Pick a morning or afternoon slot, Monday to Friday.
Meet your adviser
We connect you, free of charge, with a regulated adviser who talks you through your options.
We're the guidance and the introduction. The regulated advice, and choosing the right solution with you, is your FCA-authorised adviser's job.
Let's understand your situation
A few quick, private questions, then we introduce you to a regulated adviser who can help. Two minutes, no obligation.
Free, confidential and judgement-free.
We're here to guide and connect. You never pay us; we're paid a referral fee by the adviser, and that fee is different depending on which solution the adviser sets up. It never comes out of your pocket, and the adviser's recommendation is theirs alone. The regulated advice comes from an FCA-authorised adviser we introduce you to.

Frequently asked questions
Honest, judgement-free answers about debt, riba and getting halal help in the UK.
No. In the UK you cannot be sent to prison simply for owing money on things like credit cards, loans or overdrafts. This fear keeps many Muslims silent and stuck, but it is a myth. Debt is treated as a civil matter, and there are halal, practical ways to deal with it without panic.
Yes. You can deal with debt without taking on more riba (interest). The first step is understanding your options clearly, then being connected with an FCA-authorised debt adviser who can set up a suitable, regulated solution. Halal Debt Solutions provides free, faith-aware education and that introduction, we do not charge you and we do not give regulated advice ourselves.
The card itself is not the problem, the riba (interest) attached to it is. Interest is what makes credit-card debt a spiritual and financial burden in Islam. This is general educational information, not a religious ruling. If interest-based debt is weighing on you, there are halal ways to move forward, and talking it through can help you understand them.
Riba is the Arabic term for interest or usury, which is prohibited in Islam. It is the extra amount charged on top of the money you originally borrowed. Beyond the financial cost, many Muslims believe riba drains the barakah (blessing) from their wealth. Removing interest-based debt is central to a halal approach to money.
No. Our guidance and the introduction to an FCA-authorised debt adviser are always free to you, and you never pay us anything. We are paid a referral fee by the FCA-authorised firm if the adviser goes on to set up a solution, and the amount is different depending on which solution that is. We take no part in deciding which one is right for you, that is worked out between you and the adviser, and if the solution itself has any cost the firm will explain it before you agree to anything. You can also get free debt advice at any time from StepChange, MoneyHelper, National Debtline or Citizens Advice.
No. Halal Debt Solutions is an educational and referral service. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not give regulated financial advice or recommend a specific debt solution. Our role is to help UK Muslims understand their options and connect them with FCA-authorised professionals who can advise on the right course of action.
You share a few details through a short form, there is no credit check, and asking us does not affect your credit score. Then, at a time you choose (Monday to Friday), we have a judgement-free conversation about your situation through an Islamic lens, and connect you with a regulated adviser if that is the right next step. It is confidential and free.
Yes, and you are far from alone, shame is one of the biggest reasons people stay stuck in debt. Debt is not a sign of weak faith or bad character; even the Prophet (peace be upon him) sought refuge from its burden. Reaching out is a strong and responsible step, and it can be completely private and free of judgement.
This page is educational and does not provide regulated financial advice or religious rulings. We connect you with FCA-authorised support, and free debt advice is also available from StepChange, MoneyHelper, National Debtline and Citizens Advice.
